Learning Environment
It is Freespace policy to encourage members of staff to acquire the knowledge, values and skills necessary to undertake their role. The focus of Freespace's learning and development strategy is to ensure that our workforce are:
- equipped to work in a person centred way to ensure that people are getting the lives they want to live;
- undertaking learning, development and training opportunities which demonstrates a positive difference for the people we work for;
- ready for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
As part of the annual appraisal process and through support and supervision, staff will identify their future learning and development requirements in conjunction with their appraiser and supervisor.
